Old Award-Winners

March 13, 2017

The last couple of weeks we are re-introducing old Award-Winners to you on our news-page. What about Lucy King, our winner from Kenia in 2013? She won her award for the innovative way in which she  connects elephants with bees. Take a look at her website here: Elephant and bees project.

Remember José F. Gonzáles-Maya from Costa Rica? He was our winner in 2015. Crazy about jaguars, but also re-discovered a beautiful little frog. Rediscovery of Harlequin frog.

And Alberto Campos, winner in 2010. In 992, his NGO Aquasis was founded with the mission to prevent extinctions in North-East Brazil. Protecting the most threatened animals and setting up teams to conduct long-term conservation projects to protect these species and their habitats. Focusing on two marine mammals, the Antillean manatee and the Guiana dolphin, and two birds, the Araripe manakin and the grey-breasted parakeet.

We are so happy to re-join them all on the 31th of March, during our lustrum Event in Arnhem!!
