Reyhaneh Roohi (Awards Cycle Manager)

Each year, three young, talented, and ambitious nature conservationists are honoured with the FFN Award and become part of the FFN Family. Throughout the year, I ensure everything runs smoothly, from the selection process to the annual awards ceremony.

I have studied Natural Resource Engineering for my bachelor’s degree and Marine Science as a master’s student. Like many other nature lovers, I did my part in nature conservation by joining many wildlife conservation projects and NGOs with the focus on big carnivores in Iran. In this journey, I had the opportunity to coordinate the Yahya Awards in Iran for three years and the honour of being one of the selection committee members for two years.

Here at FFN, I have the pleasure of taking care of the annual cycle of the FFN awards and welcoming three new winners coming from all around the world to the FFN Family. I believe in the impact of their endeavours on nature conservation, and by supporting and helping the FFN family with their impressive work, I feel I’m doing my part for the future of nature conservation.
