The Future For Nature Foundation (FFN) supports young, talented, and ambitious nature conservationists committed to protecting wild species. Therefore, we select and build a new generation of nature conservationists who we believe make the difference for the future of nature. Natural leaders who inspire and with their drive and ‘stubbornness’ achieve impressive results. Annually, we put three of these promising young people in the spotlight.
Mission and Vision
At Future For Nature, we believe in
It is our mission
to protect wild species and their habitats all around the world. Species form the basis of biodiversity, and ecosystems. Vital natural systems for a flourishing planet. Species that are often under threat from human activities, climate change, and vanishing habitat. Protecting species brings hope for the future of nature.
To this end, Future For Nature supports young, talented and ambitious conservationists committed to protecting wild species in their natural habitats. These natural leaders inspire and mobilize communities, governments, investors and the public at large, to safeguard species and ecosystems and by doing so contribute to protecting life on earth. Future For Nature leverages their impact.
The organisation
Future For Nature thrives thanks to the dedication of many, including its Board, office staff, volunteers, and a global network of supporters, from selection committees to the FFN Family of conservationists, donors, and the Future For Nature Academy, which engages and inspires students across the Netherlands.
