At Future For Nature, we believe that passionate, driven conservationists are key to protecting our planet’s biodiversity. We support individuals who are making a tangible difference for wild species and ecosystems around the world, those at a critical stage in their careers.
What we offer
Through the Future For Nature Award, we recognize and fund outstanding conservationists with bold ideas and proven dedication. Selected recipients receive financial support, international recognition, and access to a global network of conservation professionals.

Who can apply
We are looking for conservationists who:
- Are actively working to protect species or ecosystems in the wild
- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and innovation
- Have already achieved measurable impact
- Are committed to continuing their work long-term
Typically, applicants are early- to mid-career conservationists, though exceptional candidates at different stages may also apply.

Application process
Applications open annually and are reviewed by international expert selection committees. The process includes:
- Submission of an online application
- Evaluation based on impact, leadership, purpose by our selection committees
- Featuring the shortlisted nominees on our platforms
- Celebrating the three winners at the prestigious Future For Nature Awards event
