The Future For Nature Foundation is responsible for the processing of personal data with care. The
personal data that the foundation collects and processes is described below.

1. Newsletter subscriptions

Future For Nature carefully manages personal data from newsletter subscribers that are provided
by yourself.

1.1 Personal data collected and used
The contact details that are shared to receive the Future For Nature newsletter, will be collected and
stored by Future For Nature. The data is stored on a protected server managed by Future For Nature.
Contact details that are collected include:
– Name and surname
– Email address
The contact details that are shared will not be used for any other purpose than sending the
newsletter.

1.2 Sharing data with third parties
Besides personal data being shared to the newsletter provider (MailChimp) we do not share any
personal data with third parties. You can find the privacy policy from MailChimp here.

1.3 Removing personal data
On request, a newsletter recipient can ask for his/her personal data to be removed.
In every newsletter, a link is included to unsubscribe. By clicking the link, contact details are removed
from both MailChimp and the protected server managed by Future For Nature.

2. Application forms

Future For Nature carefully manages personal data included in application forms that are provided
by yourself or an acquaintance.

2.1.Application forms collected
Application forms are filled in by applicants who hope to be eligible for the Future For Nature Award.
The application form can be downloaded from our website, and must be submitted via e-mail (to
info@futurefornature.org). Future For Nature collects the application forms and stores them on a
protected server managed by Future For Nature. The applications forms are only send under strict
protocol to the National Selection Committee.

2.2.Sharing with third parties
Under no single circumstance, the application forms are shared with third parties. The application
forms are only accessible to the bureau, and sent to the National Selection Committee first.
Subsequently a selection of the application forms (the nominations) is forwarded to the International
Selection Committee. Both committees are informed to handle the personal data with care via a
selection protocol.

2.3.Removing personal data
Future For Nature stores the received application on a protected server managed by Future For
Nature. On request, the application form can be removed. Please contact info@futurefornature.org
to put your request forward.
