And the winners are …..

Future For Nature proudly presents to you the three winners of the Future For Nature Award 2016. This year we have a Dutch winner: Wietse van der Werf, founder of The Black Fish Foundation, protecting threatened fish species in European seas. An American winner: Matthew Shirley, working in Gabon and particularly focussing on endangered crocodile species ànd a winner from Vietnam: Thai Van Nguyen, founder and executive director of Save Vietnam’s Wildlife.

Wietse van der Werf: “I am sure to speak for all three of us when referring to this prize as a game-changer for our individual efforts and projects.”

FFN will present their work to the audience the next couple of weeks. These young men will be eager to present their work on April 15th at Royal Burgers’ Zoo, Arnhem, The Netherlands.

Let’s not forget to applaud the other four nominees. Naftali Honig, Tiasa Adhya, Andrew Lemieux and Kerstin Forsberg. Thanks for your participation and keep up the good spirit and work!
